We will rock with our brothers of BON SCOTT (Germany`s most succesful and best AC/DC Coverband). At least 3 guys from Scott are KICKHUNTER–members!!! Rollie, Karsten and sometimes Markus! This means pure ROCK`N`ROLL–Family-Party! Watch our TOUR-Section on this site for more dates in the future…

JC and Ela just recorded their vocals with producers Stefan and Dennis Ward in Hamburg. And man – they rock! We will start recording the keyboards (mostly HAMMOND B3) with Ansas on Tuesday… And then: MIX & MASTER!!!

Stefan has played nearly all his guitars for “All Inn”. He played the same guitar the EAGLES usesd for HOTEL CALIFORINIA - a 12 - string Takamine. Amazing sound! Especially for the ballads – there will be 3 on the album. Rollie will be the next to finish his solos… More news very soon!

Stefan visited HELLOWEEN for one gig in RIO DE JANEIRO ( 17`th of April)… They did an amazing show in front of 3000 people…In Sao Paulo Helloween played in front of 7000 fans!!! Their tour is goin`unbelieveble well! Lets hope KICKHUNTER will rock South America some day…

Drummer Karsten and Songwriter / Producer Stefan finished the Drumrecordings for the next Kickhunter album “ALL IN”. They have been in Karlsruhe, southern Germany for a few days last week (15`th of march) to work with Co-Producer and friend Dennis Ward and to enjoy a few pints of beer at Vogel-Bräu – the local brewmasters miss them now!!!

“We will start to record the guitars tomorrow in Hamburg” says Stefan. Expect a lot of high energy - Rock`n`Roll!! 2 double bass-attacks as well as 3 Ballads. There will be a cool cover of Blondie`s “Call Me” as well - featuring KICKHUNTERS female singer Ela on lead vocal. Classic-Rock at its best! The album will be released in early September 2008.

Yehaaa-we are back in the studio! Right now we`re working on the demos (pilots)…
At the end of march we will record the drums with Dennis Ward in Karlsruhe-the hometown of KICKHUNTER-drummer Karsten! The follow-up to “Little Monsters” will be released in fall 2008! More info very soon on this site!

We will start the pre-recordings (pilots) for our next album on the first of february. Again Stefan (who wrote 11 brand new songs for the album) will produce together with our very good friend and co-producer of “Little Monsters” Dennis Ward. Stay tuned for more info on our site. We are also looking for the oportunity to jump on a tour… Before or after the release… KICKHUNTER`s third album should be out by fall this year.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of Markus Grosskopf’s Bassinvaders album Hellbassbeaters on January 25.
Markus Grosskopf is mostly known as the bass player of Germany’s Heavy Metal legend Helloween and Rock`n`Rollers KICKHUNTER, but Bassinvaders has been a creation of Markus while sitting in a bar and enjoying a few drinks. There it was that he got inspired to an impressive idea: a heavy rock record without any guitars at all. He presented this concept to Frontiers Records in early 2007, who was intrigued with the idea and gave it a go.
And yes, at the end of the day the idea paid off! Hellbassbeaters contains all basic elements a heavy rock record and so much more. You got the strong vocals, rhythmic bass, intoxicating drums and even bass & twin bass solo parts. What you hear is what you get: 100 % genuine heavy / rock record with absolutely no discordant guitar note on it at all. To guarantee a great variety of different influences Markus invited some well-known singing bass players from the German Metal scene to join the band. And they didn’t need an extra invitation. In Destruction’s enfant terrible Schmier, Sodom’s frontman Tom Angelripper and Rage boss Peavy, Markus found some real Bassinvaders-friends.
To push it even further Markus invited a few of his bass heroes to play solos on some of the tracks. When he started searching for support making this album excellent he expected to get a cautious response of 2 or 3 musicians. He ended up organizing more than 13 people for a solo appearance on the album. They named themselves – like the album title – the Hellbassbeaters: Billy Sheehan (Steve Vai, ex-Mr. Big, ex-David Lee Roth), Rudy Sarzo (Dio, ex-Ozzy Osbourne, ex-Whitesnake, ex-Quiet Riot), Lee Rocker (Stray Cats), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, ex-Whitesnake, ex-Ted Nugent), DD Verni (Overkill), Wyzard (Mother’s Finest), Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray), Joey Vera (Armored Saint, Fates Warning, ex-Anthrax), Stig Pedersen (D.A.D), Nibbs (Saxon), Tobias Exxel (Edguy), Jens Becker (Grave Digger, ex-Running Wild), Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69), Peter Baltes (Accept), Jan S. Eckert (Masterplan) and Michael Müller (Jaded Heart).
Markus has also invited some guest singers for the songs he wrote: Apollo Papathanasio (Firewind, Time Requiem, Evil Masquerade, Majestic) and the frontman of the legendary Danish stadium rock band D.A.D – Jesper Binzer. And special guests on vocals: KICKHUNTER`s Jörg “JC” Wesenberg and Ela on the KICKHUNTER-Remake of “Hell And Back Again”. While the guest drummers are André Hilgers (Rage, Axxis, Silent Force) and Stefan Arnold (Grave Digger). And Karsten Kreppert on “Hell and Back Again”.
This guest list and the killer line-up make the first Bassinvaders album something very special, but it’s not only about the name dropping. Songs like “Boiling Blood”, “We Live”, “Voices”, “Razorblade Romance”, “Armageddon” or the storming Bassinvaders version of the classic Helloween anthem “Eagle Fly Free” are proving that Markus’ late night idea won’t be just a one-off slap, but the foundation for another “battlefield” for the always smiling bassist.
The album tracklisting includes: Awakening the Bass Machine; We Live; Armageddon; Romance In Black; Godless Gods; Empty Memories (Breaking Free); Boiling Blood; Far Too Late; The Asshole Song; Dead From the Eyes Down; Razorblade Romance; Voices; Eagles Fly Free; To Hell And Back Again (Bonus Track Europe)
